The Post Office has resumed its instruction to Herbert Smith Freehills in relation to the ongoing Horizon scandal inquiry, ten months after it was officially replaced by Burges Salmon and Fieldfisher.

According to a document seen by Law.com International, the firm’s contract with the Post Office is worth £6 million. The contract term started in February and was originally scheduled to expire on April 19 but has been extended by a week, according to the Post Office.
