Linklaters has suffered its second partner defection in a day as U.S. elite firm Paul, Weiss Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, swoops for yet another one of its partners.

M&A partner Matthew Hearn is set to be the latest partner to join Paul Weiss’ growing London office, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.  Hearn, who has been at Linklaters for over a decade, follows in the footsteps of his former Linklaters M&A colleague, partner Dan Schuster-Woldan, who joined as the new head of European public M&A in late January.
