Pinsent Masons has begun outlining the steps it expects to take in the wake of the inquest into the death of Vanessa Ford, a senior equity partner at the firm who, according to a coroner’s inquest last week, underwent an “acute mental health crisis” before her death in September.

The inquest determined that Ford, aged 47 and known professionally as Vanessa Heap, died after having consumed “a significant amount of alcohol” and subsequently being struck by a train.
