For the past two years, there is one question that I have been asked over and over again. It doesn’t matter what the other person and I set out to discuss, and it doesn’t matter who in the legal arena I’m speaking with. Anyone with any skin in the game of law firm business will at some point ask, So, what are law firms doing about China?”

Some are comfortable posing the question because, to be fair, it is an important issue that’s on everyone’s mind. But many are a little sheepish about asking—I suspect because they fear looking as if they’re clueless.
