A range of Am Law 100 partners say they and many others at their firms fear facing “career-ending” repercussions for expressing views on the unfolding Israel-Gaza crisis that are perceived to oppose or contradict their firms’ statements on the situation.
Meanwhile, lawyers that affirm their firms’ statements, as well as the letter firms addressed to law school deans, have said that calling out “incendiary” behaviour of other lawyers is “mandatory”.
