Herbert Smith Freehills has hired in a Sidley partner to take on the new role of head of international private equity.
Eleanor Shanks joins the firm in London having previously spent just under five years with Sidley as a partner in their corporate and private equity group. Before her time with Sidley, she was a lawyer with Proskauer Rose.
