Female lawyers in Australia are vulnerable to tech-enabled overwork and to losing their jobs to the automation of legal tasks, according to new research from the University of Sydney Business School and Australian National University.
The study, Designing Gender Equality into the Future of Law, found that female lawyers remain subject to persistent discrimination and harassment, despite outnumbering men in the legal profession.
