A host of elite firms from both sides of the Atlantic have advised on an ‘industry-changing’ merger between packaging giants Smurfit Kappa, and WestRock.

The combination sees FTSE-100 listed Smurfit Kappa, a global provider of paper-based packaging which counts 47,000 employees, join forces with fellow packaging giants, U.S.-based WestRock, to create Smurfit WestRock.
