Baker McKenzie and its former Russian operation, the now-independent law firm Melling Voitishkin & Partners, are both advising Carlsberg on the sale of its Russian business to an undisclosed buyer.

Nearly a year after the law firm spun off its own operation in the country, Baker McKenzie is acting alongside Melling for long-standing client Carlsberg on the separation of its Russian business from the rest of the Carlsberg Group and the sale of Baltika, the biggest brewer in Russia.
