Baker McKenzie hired the Australia head of Norton Rose Fulbright’s construction and engineering team along with another construction partner from the firm, as the firm seeks to enhance its credentials in renewable energy and infrastructure. 

Emanuel Confos and partner Harriet Oldmeadow have worked on high-profile construction disputes, including Brookfield Multiplex Construction’s appeal to the High Court of Australia in June 2014, a case Norton Rose described on its website as “the most significant case to come before the High Court for the construction industry in the last ten years.”
