International law firm Clyde & Co and Australia’s MinterEllison recently made job cuts among their back-office staff in Australia, saying it’s a normal part of business.
Both firms confirmed the cuts but did not provide details on the number of staff affected, whether any lawyers have also been laid off, and whether the cuts were in response to the slowing economy.
