A number of local and international law firms are advising on a U.K. government-backed loan that will allow the Ukrainian government to start rebuilding bridges and reopening vital supply routes near Kyiv. The £26.3 million loan, which was described in a government announcement as “unprecedented”, gives the Ukrainian government access to financing from Citibank, in order to begin rebuilding work on six bridges destroyed in Russian attacks.
