Big Six South Korean firm Yoon & Yang has hired U.S.-qualified M&A lawyer Irene Kim in Seoul from Korean memory chip and smartphone maker Samsung Electronics, where she was most recently the principal legal counsel.
The hire comes about two months after the Seoul-based firm hired two senior lawyers, Jason Lee and Song Feng Hong, from its Big Six rivals Kim & Chang and Bae, Kim & Lee. It also then simultaneously added another senior lawyer, Sung Jin Ro, from Versum Materials, where he was general counsel.
