Less than a month after launching in Toronto, U.S.-based firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo already has 13 lawyers in Canada’s biggest city, including two new counsel and two partners who joined Wednesday.

The firm, which launched its first Canadian outpost last month, said it plans to extend its life sciences and private equity capabilities with 20 lawyers in Toronto by the end of April, 50 over the next 18 months, and 75 within three years.
