Robert Insolia, the chair of Goodwin Procter since 2019 and the managing partner of the firm from 2012 through 2019, is leaving the firm’s leadership later this year, and the firm has selected the current co-chair of the firm’s technology practice, Anthony McCusker, as his replacement, the firm said Wednesday.

McCusker will work closely with current managing partner Mark Bettencourt on matters related to talent, press relations, the firm brand and clients. Insolia will return to full-time practice after stepping down from the chair role at the end of this fiscal year on Oct. 1.
