Gibson Dunn Hits Shearman For Another Abu Dhabi Partner

Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has further expanded its newly launched Abu Dhabi office with the hire of another Shearman & Sterling partner.

Abu Dhabi based banking and finance partner Laleh Shahabi is joining Gibson Dunn after just under four years at Shearman. She was promoted to partner at the firm in 2021 and has a particular focus on the transitional energy, renewables and oil and gas sectors, according to a statement by Gibson Dunn on Tuesday.
