Baker McKenzie is leading a class action against Australian health insurer Medibank Private on behalf of consumers who it says were affected by a data breach last year.
The class action is being funded on a ‘no win, no pay’ basis by Australian litigation funder Omni Bridgeway and has been filed in Australia’s Federal Court. It will be led by Baker McKenzie partners Paul Forbes and Ryan Grant.
