Potts’ move follows other Shearman partner exits in recent weeks, including Abu Dhabi partner Dan Feldman leaving to join King & Spalding, and a wider Middle East team quitting to launch an Abu Dhabi office for Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.
In a statement, Shearman & Sterling commented: “We can confirm Helena Potts is leaving the firm. We thank Helena for the contribution she has made to the firm and wish her all the best for the future.”
