The English court made several notable arbitration-related decisions in 2022, covering a range of topics including, separability of arbitration agreements, enforcement of awards, state immunity, and res judicata.

One highlight is the Court of Appeal decision in MUR Shipping BV v RTI Ltd, which was an appeal under section 69 of the Arbitration Act 1996 on a question of law arising out of an award made by a London-seated arbitral tribunal.
