DLA Piper has added two lawyers to its roster in Chile, including one who worked on digital matters for the Chilean government, as it prepares to better guide clients on data protection and intellectual property concerns.

Carla Illanes arrives at the firm as counsel after having advised the Chilean president’s office for more than three years as the country attempts to adopt stricter data protection regulations.
