Members of a group of 7,000 Spanish dairy farmers have filed their first claims to recoup €800 million in damages for the alleged anti-competitive practices of Spanish and international dairy companies.

The law firms acting on behalf of the Spanish farmers are Eskariam, a Madrid-based firm specializing in mass litigation, international litigation firm Hausfeld, focused on competition disputes and collective redress, and Hitchings & Co, which specializes in competition litigation in the Spanish market.
