Top Law Firms Take On First Vietnamese IPO in US

Latham & Watkins, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Vietnamese firms YKVN and VILAF, and Rajah & Tann Singapore are advising Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast on its filing of an IPO on the Nasdaq exchange in New York.

If successful, it would be the first debut listing in the U.S. by a Vietnamese company, and the biggest IPO since Vietnam’s largest real estate developer, Vinhomes, raised $1.4 billion in its domestic debut in 2018.
