Allen & Overy has advised Abu Dhabi’s AD Ports Group on its takeover of Spanish logistics firm Noatum for US$681 million, a deal which makes the UAE port operator one of the most powerful logistics and freight forwarding companies in the world.
The investment in Noatum, which has over 2,600 employees and operates in 26 countries, including Spain, U.S., U.K. and throughout Asia and Europe, will significantly extend AD Ports Group’s global connectivity to create a market-leading international logistics brand, the firm said in a statement.
