Baker McKenzie has hired a new partner for its international commercial and trade practice in Toronto, filling a need for lawyers with experience in customs and international trade law.

Julia Webster was previously at Borden Ladner Gervais, the largest law firm in Canada. She brings significant customs, anti-corruption and international trade experience to Baker McKenzie’s North American team, which advises clients on cross-border legal issues impacting global business strategy, the firm said.
