Herbert Smith Freehills and Davis, Polk & Wardwell are set to advise Made.com as it files for administration, becoming the latest retailer to succumb to growing economic headwinds. The HSF team will be led by restructuring partner John Chetwood,  who will be working alongside corporate duo Ben Ward and Caroline Rae, according to a spokesperson.  Head of Europe, Will Pearce, is leading the Davis Polk side, a person with knowledge of the matter said. 

Founded in 2010, the brand, known for its fashionable furniture, rose to popularity during the pandemic as house-bound customers looked to redecorate their homes.
