Law firms and other companies in Europe are treading a tightrope line between requiring in-person work and maintaining the flexibility needed to attract and retain talent, according to a new study by Littler.

The survey of nearly 700 employers on the continent also found that law firms and other employers were concerned that maintaining a too-disperse workforce for too long would eat into culture and teambuilding—even as data show that remote work has no adverse effect on productivity.
