The Mexican government has taken its efforts to stem the flow of weapons into its country to the U.S. state of Arizona, where it has filed a federal suit against five gun retailers it says are engaged in weapons trafficking and racketeering.

The suit was filed Monday by Ryan O’Neal, a shareholder in the Tucson office of DeConcini McDonald Yetwin & Lacy and co-signed by Austin-based social justice attorney Steve Shadowen and Jonathan Lowy of Global Action on Gun Violence.
