Akin Gump has hired a former senior public servant to its public law and policy (PLP) practice in Geneva.
Jan Walter, who will join as a senior policy adviser, is the first addition to the Washington-based practice outside the U.S. Currently the PLP practice comprises over 70 lawyers and other professionals, including former members of Congress.
