Clifford Chance Leads as FC Barcelona Signs Away TV Rights to Plug Losses

Clifford Chance is advising investor Sixth Street across two deals to acquire 25% of FC Barcelona’s LaLiga TV rights over the next quarter century. The acquisition was done across two deals, with CC advising on both.

The San Francisco-based investment firm purchased 10% of the football club’s LaLiga TV rights for 207.5 million euros in June and, in July , an additional 15%, with the price tag of more than €300 million.
