Hogan Lovells power, renewables and energy transition head Alex Harrison has left the firm to join Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in London, as certain areas of the lateral hiring market continue to boom.

Harrison leaves after over 18 years at Hogan Lovells, where he was head of the power, renewables and energy transition practice.  His core practice involves advising clients in relation to a variety of matters including power generation, energy transition, greenfield and brownfield project development and electricity regulation, according to a statement by Akin Gump on Tuesday.
