Shearman & Sterling Promotes Sole London Lawyer to Partner

One London lawyer has made the grade in Shearman & Sterling’s latest partner promotions round, in a cohort of 12.

London lawyer Sam Whitaker has been made a partner in the firm’s compensation, governance and ERISA practice, according to the firm’s statement on its latest cohort on Monday.
