Chilean law firm Carey Abogados has advised Japanese conglomerate Mitsui & Co. on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Chilean rental car and leasing company Mitta.
The sale comes as international investors take a cautiously optimistic view on the South American country as it transitions to a left-leaning government that vows to overhaul economic tenets that many credit for decades of enviable growth in Chile.
