Magic Circle Duo Join Dentons, Reed Smith on Saudi Newcastle United Takeover

Magic Circle law firms Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have scored places on the long-awaited takeover of Newcastle United Football Club, joining Dentons and Reed Smith in advising on the deal.

First mooted 18 months ago, the Saudi Arabian-backed £305m takeover of the club has finally completed after assurances that the Saudi state would not control the club.
