African law firm Bowmans has elected one of its top M&A partners as its new chairman and senior partner.

From 1 October 2021, Ezra Davids, who has been deputy chairman of Bowmans since March and chairman of its corporate/M&A practice for around 11 years, succeeds Robert Legh, who died of complications related to COVID-19 in July.
