Norton Rose Fulbright Report: Strong Australian M&A Continues in 2021

The surprisingly strong mergers and acquisition market in Australia in 2020 has continued into 2021, according to the latest Australian Public M&A Deal Trends Report published by global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.

The report revealed that 40 deals at a total value of A$30.4 billion ($22.3 billion) were announced in the calendar year 2020, compared with 42 deals totaling $28.2 billion ($20.7 billion) in 2019.
