Three More Firms Check Out Roles As Morrisons Bidding War Nears End

Debevoise & Plimpton, Weil Gotshal & Manges, and Norton Rose Fulbright have all bagged mandates on the latest bid for supermarket chain Morrisons.

Private equity fund Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) and its bidding consortium have made a second bid of £7 billion for the supermarket chain, which has been accepted, following the rejection of its original £5.5 billion bid in July.
