A leading arbitration lawyer has left Milbank’s Washington D.C. office to join global arbitrator organisation Arbitration Chambers, in a move partly driven by the “conflicts” experienced at a Big Law firm.

Michael Nolan has opted for a move to Arbitration Chambers, which launched a base in New York in early 2020, after nearly 24 years at Milbank. He was promoted to partner in 1998 and will be based in Washington D.C. in his new role.
