Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Allen & Overy and Fenwick & West are leading on U.S. e-commerce company Etsy’s acquisition of U.K. online marketplace Depop.
According to a joint press statement on Wednesday, Etsy has acquired Depop for $1.625 billion, with the transaction expected to close in the third quarter of 2021. Depop will continue to be London-headquartered, the statement said.
