Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has introduced a series of initiatives to support staff and lawyers struggling with mental health issues, including giving two extra days of paid leave to its global workforce.
One of the extra leave days will be in May and the other in August or September depending on office and geography, with the firm adding that “where possible, these days will be combined with an existing long weekend to give as many colleagues as possible four consecutive days off, twice, between late spring and the end of the summer this year.”
