Canada’s capital markets are the hottest they’ve been in 15 years, keeping lawyers busy and firms on the hunt for talent to take up the increased workload.

“Across all our offices—Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver in particular, where we do a lot of capital markets financing work—we haven’t seen utilization of lawyers in our group like this for several years,” says Kent Kufeldt, the national business leader for securities and capital markets at Borden Ladner Gervais.
