Despite huge strides being made in recent years to stamp out harassment against women, such instances continue to occur within the legal industry. Earlier in March, a former DWF lawyer was banned from the profession by the Solicitors Regulation Authority for having allegedly “sexually harassed a junior colleague by sending her sexually explicit WhatsApp messages”.

Meanwhile a recent study conducted by the United Nations Women U.K. found that 71% of women of all ages in the U.K. have experienced some form of sexual harassment in a public space, with 45% of women stating they didn’t believe reporting their experiences to an official organisation would change anything.
