Australian law firm MinterEllison is in uproar after managing partner Annette Kimmitt sent an email to staff apologizing that one of the firm’s lawyers had agreed to represent a senior politician accused of a historic rape, according to media reports.
Commonwealth Attorney General Christian Porter has hired MinterEllison partner and defamation specialist Peter Bartlett to represent him in relation to the rape allegations, which he denies.
