Allison Schoenthal, longtime partner at Hogan Lovells and founder and leader of that firm’s consumer finance litigation team, has joined Goodwin Procter as the New York head of that firm’s consumer financial services litigation and enforcement practice, the firm said Monday. In tow, she brings her entire team from Hogan Lovells, five in all.

In addition to Schoenthal, who had been at Hogan Lovells and its prior incarnation Hogan & Hartson for over 17 years in total, Goodwin lands Allison Funk, Christian Fletcher, Leah Edmunds, Gabrielle Mannuzza and Robert Sillett. Funk will join the firm as an associate, the others will come on titled as senior attorneys.
