Anderson Mori & Tomotsune has announced its new “foreign law joint enterprise” structure, which legally allows the firm to have foreign-qualified lawyers as equity partners with management rights.

The move will put the firm in a better position to attract foreign talent and win more cross-border mandates, said Atsutoshi Maeda, a Singapore-based partner who assisted on the project.
