A prominent human rights and public law barrister at Doughty Street Chambers has passed away after a ‘short illness’, the chambers has confirmed.
Stephen Knafler QC died in hospital on Saturday. He was 60 years old.
He was previously the joint head of Garden Court Chambers, and had only recently moved to Doughty Street from Landmark.
