Latham & Watkins and Morrison & Foerster have taken the lead roles on Softbank’s $40 Billion sale of computing giant Arm to graphics processing unit (GPU) inventor NVIDIA.

U.S.-based GPU designer NVIDIA and Japanese holding company SoftBank Group Corporation (SBG) agreed on Sunday that NVIDIA will acquire Arm Limited from SBG and the SoftBank Vision Fund in a transaction valued at $40 billion, according to a statement by NVIDIA.
