Travers Smith Hires Private Equity Stalwart

Travers Smith has hired private equity lawyer Simon Witney to its ranks as a senior consultant from Debevoise & Plimpton in a boost to the firm’s private capital offering.

Witney has been a consultant at Debevoise since 2017, prior to which he was a partner at legacy SJ Berwin between 2001 and 2013 and a consultant at King Wood & Mallesons between 2013 and 2017.
