A former U.K. associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has been suspended for a year for possessing a class A drug, according to a Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT) judgment.

Matthew Podger, who trained and was an associate at Slaughter and May for six years before joining Cleary as an associate in March 2017, has been suspended for a year from June 24, 2020 for possessing class A drug cocaine.
