Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has represented Chile on a series of “green” bonds as the Andean country blazes a trail for sustainable finance in Latin America.
The latest issuances — $1.65 billion in the U.S. and €1.96 billion in Europe — priced and closed in January. All told, Chile has raised more than $6 billion via the green bond market since June.
