Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, the global law firm’s member firm in Singapore, has hired competition lawyer Harikumar Sukumar Pillay as a partner—a move that comes as competition authorities have been increasing the sophistication of regulations.
Pillay joins the firm from Osborne Clarke Queen Street, Osborne Clarke’s associated firm in Singapore. He is a competition law and regulation practitioner with more than 14 years’ experience in both the public sector and private practice. He spent a decade at the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore, where he was director of enforcement.
